Bawarchi’s journey began 23 years ago when Mr. Rajiv Kumar Paul turned a small fast-food counter in Jadavpur into a beloved spot for Kolkata’s food lovers. Famous for its royal Biryani and friendly atmosphere, the restaurant soon became a favorite for families, students, and anyone craving comforting flavors.

Backed by the Hindusthan Concern of Hindusthan Sweets, Bawarchi expanded to multiple locations across Bengal and introduced new brands like Posto, Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor, Bellagio, The Nest Café, and Momose. To make celebrations even more special, the team also launched outdoor catering services that bring Bawarchi’s signature aromas and spices to events across the city.
